Chess Checkers

Chess and checkers are played using the same kind of game board, even though they are different games. These two games use different pieces and employ differing strategies.

The pieces used in chess and checkers are different. Checkers use game pieces that are round and flat, much like silver dollars. They are commonly made of plastic or wood.

Chess, checkers and other similar games have been popular for centuries. Often used as a means of exercise for strategic thinking, these games have also been popular for simple entertainment purposes. Tournaments for both games are played around the world every year.
